Chris came and begged me to drive him to McDonald's tonight. At 2am. And I agreed. Bad idea! The McDonald's he loves (and the one that is open 24 hours) is right next to a construction site. We had some nasty storms this afternoon and there was construction stuff everywhere! Including a nice BIG bolt that has now pierced my $300 front driver tire. My poor FX! The tire didn't even make it 1.5 years! I am not happy!

This story kind of reminds of when I would skip school and something bad would ALWAYS happen. How many Big Macs can you buy with one of your tires, Sandra? Since I live in TX, the state of constant construction, my tire warranties have done me well.

Isn't that funny how that works? Wow - I remember the roads in TX were awful! I didn't buy the extra tire package from Infiniti but Chris got it fixed at BJs and it was much cheaper - and has a lifetime guarantee!
