Lately our AC has been running non stop. I think it's going on a full week now and the AC has yet to shut off. So we decided to check the outside temperature and it was 101 outside in the shade!! Here's a shot of the temperature (In the upper right circle):
Then we had a fun idea... let's put the remote thermometer in the sun and see what happens! Well within 6 minutes the temperature jumped to 115!
But then on the radio they were talking about how you could fry an egg on the hood of your car, and in fact the guy was describing it on the air. It makes you think about the whole global warming craze until you start to realize that they talk about frying eggs on the sidewalk every year! In fact I've heard it every year since I moved to Orlando back in 1998.
Amazing how easy it is to stir people up over a political topic when they can't remember something as recent as a few years ago. Sure it's hot, it's been hot during the summer for years, as you get older you start to notice it more much like you start to complain that the music is too loud. ;o)
