stress defined

November 18, 2007 ยท Sandra

I had this quote on my wall all through college and I really like it. I thought I would post it here to share and so I would have it saved:

Psychological distress is often a result of unpleasant thoughts that are usually not tuned to reality and include misconceptions, distortion, exaggerations of problems and unreasonable negative evaluations of events.

So take it easy this holiday season! You are probably worried about nothing!
