Pills and Dogs

I think that giving a pill to a dog is a talent. I worked at a vet back in high school so I pretty much mastered it - you open the dogs mouth with both hands and then while open, you shove the pill in as far as you can using your thumb and first two fingers. It is one fast move. I should have Chris film me doing it! I keep telling Chris he needs to learn but he knows I will save the day. This morning he gave Duke and Goblin their pills while I watched. Then to "comfort" them he threw them a few treats after. Goblin opened his mouth to catch a treat, and there, stuck to his tonsils was the blue pill! He was saving it for when Chris wasn't looking to spit out! It was SO funny!
