It is really amazing to see the space shuttle launch - it is one of the great things about living in Central Florida. Most of the launches are during the day and the evening launches are so much more incredible to watch! We watched the countdown of Endeavour on TV and then we headed outside - it was a fairly clear night and the bright orange thick trail was just so awesome to watch! It really gives me chills. I have mixed feelings about watching the Space Shuttle - I get scared of what could happen since we have had a few accidents. But I will feel much better when they are safe and home in 16 days!
