We did a really big family portrait session a few days ago - grandparents, parents, children and dogs all running around. I was really happy with the photos and one of the dogs was a sweet thing named Shiloh.
The owners told me that Shiloh was very sick but they were doing all they could. I took a bunch of great photos and then yesterday they told me that Shiloh passed away. I started to cry - that was news I wasn't ready to hear. But I also thought of the great photos I got of Kathleen and Shiloh at the end of the session and I hope she loves them as much as I do. Here is one of my favorites:
I just lost one of my dogs to cancer a few months ago and I would do anything to have a sweet photo like this with him.
