Last week was graduation week from the US Naval Academy and on Wednesday the Blue Angels were performing over the campus in Annapolis, Maryland. Because this was only an hour drive away and the Blue Angels put on a great show we drove over to see them. Even though we were able to get there early parking filled up fast so we parked across the river at Carol's Creek Restaurant where we were able to get some great food and a nice 2nd floor shady spot to watch the show.
This video makes it look as if we are farther away than we were but in the first segment the F-18 that goes off screen to the top passed directly over us and you can see how loud it was by watching the kid on the left side of the middle white tent.
We had a great time in Annapolis and really enjoyed seeing what these amazing pilots can do!
