I am cleaning out my hard drive and finding old videos that I never edited or posted here on YouTube. One is this video of the first muzzle we tried with James.
We knew we would need a muzzle for James when we moved to Europe. Some countries require it on public transportation (Austria and Venice, Italy). Other countries do not require it but we like to have it on J's leash just in case. We ordered this traditional metal muzzle from Leerburg because I read it worked best on long Poodle noses.
It wasn't quite what we were looking for! It was too big. Too heavy. Too scary. Too WWII German Shepherd Police Dog. As you can see from the video, James did not like this muzzle one bit.
Thanks to the staff at Leerburg that helped us get a new lightweight Jafco plastic muzzle instead of this one. The new Jafco muzzle is white, too!
