When we lived in Europe, I loved this style of mop that folded with a little washable pad. In DC, the mop I had was velcro and 9 times out of 10, the velcro pad would come off while I was mopping. I got rid of it when we moved overseas and then when we came back to the US again, I bought the same velcro mop - it was all I could find.
Imagine how excited I was when I saw the European mop while we were in Canada! It was at Canadian Tire (I love Canadian Tire - it is one of my favorite stores in the World!) and I decided to get one.
The pad on this mop is a little different - it snaps into place. But the mop will still hold the European pads that have little sleeves that the mop slides into.
When I looked at the label, I saw that the Vileda brand is from Italy. I am so glad they have these here in Canada!
