Join us as we show you our apartment in Marseille, France. I am really loving Marseille - it reminds me a lot of Los Angeles. The city slowly slopes down towards the Mediterranean Sea so almost everywhere in town has a water view.

What do you think of our top loading horizontal axis washing machine? These are apparently very popular in France. I actually like these smaller machines. When we are back in the US, I am always so surprised at how HUGE our washing machines are and so many people I know do several loads a day!
We can see the magnificent Basilique Notre-Dame de la Garde from our windows. We walked up to it one afternoon with James, too. It has amazing views looking out over the city and the sea. I love how it is lit up at night:
