Fontana Delle Tette in Treviso, Italy

Fontana Delle Tette in Treviso, Italy

March 20, 2018 · Sandra

This is definitely not the kind of fountain you see in the US!

What does James think of the Fontana Delle Tette? What do you think of it? We jokingly called it the “Titty Fountain” because that is really what it translates to in English. The Fontana Delle Tette was built in 1559 as a result of a severe drought in Treviso, Italy.

Every fall for three days, red wine flows from one breast and white wine flows from the other breast and all citizens can drink the wine for free!
