Pacific City, Oregon

Pacific City, Oregon

September 9, 2019 ยท Sandra

We are really enjoying the Oregon beaches. I just love that they are dog friendly! Someone told us when the tide is out, you can walk out to that big rock you see behind James. I'm not sure if I believe it, but you can see that the water is really shallow when the swimmers are out at low tide.

Low tide also reveals a lot of rocky beach covered in oysters/mussels. Good thing we have Keen sandals to walk out there - they keep us from slipping and they protect our feet from sharp shells. We didn't let James walk on the rocks since we didn't have his boots with us.

I was told to look for starfish in the tide pools and I was so excited when I found them!

These girls were running and shrieking as they played on the beach. It was making James so happy so I let him run with them a little bit on the beach:
