The three don't really have too much in common. I haven't been to the mall in a while and since we were meeting our friends Adam and Vanessa for dinner right by the mall, I decided to go early and see if I found anything at the mall. I wanted a new pair of pretty earrings and a red shirt.
I started in Bloomies where I found these cute Nadri earrings - they were sparkly and pretty - just what I was looking for so I was off to a good start. Here they are (and the picture does not do them justice - they are so pretty!):
Then as I headed past the shoes I saw the Chanel cosmetics counter and I had seen a girl wearing the "heatwave" color recently and I really liked it. But when I saw this softer pink, I decided it was more of what I was in the mood for this summer. But once I saw the name I was SOLD (not that I wasn't getting it anyway). The name? Paparazzi! Here it is:
The problem was they were sold out. The only other Chanel cosmetics counter in the mall is Neimans. I am not really a huge Neimans fan - mainly because I do not have an American Express card and I don't really want one. I also do not have a Neimans card. So I must have cash for anything I want to buy in the store. Their website does take MC and Visa thank goodness. So I headed in and sure enough they did have my Paparazzi nail polish. Once I got it, I had to pass the shoes.

But I moved on and kept looking. Out of the corner of my eye I see "Tory Burch." What? When did this happen? I run over and ask the man when they got these. He said "today!" and was so excited that I knew what they were. Beth and I were talking about these crazy shoes and how you can only buy them in NYC. I was going to buy a pair from Nordstrom online, but I wasn't sure of the fit and Nordstrom isn't really near my house so it is a pain to return them to the store. So I tried them on - they were cute of course and I had to buy them.

I was so excited about my three fun finds that I wasn't too bummed about the red shirt that no one seemed to have. The hot colors right now are clearly yellow, pink, white and brown. I looked in several stores and red was very hard to find. Oh well - another day.
