I recently watched Chuck and Blair (oops I mean Louis and Blair!) get married on Gossip Girl and I couldn't help but notice Blair's hair. It wasn't at all what I expected from a "princess" and I was actually disappointed in it. It was so casual - especially up against Serena, Eleanor and Dorota's beautiful updos. Blair is always dressed to the nines and I was very surprised that they didn't dress her up more (at least with her hair) for her wedding.
And then you see the same thing from Bella Swan in Twilight. Her hair seems so casual from the front (it was a little prettier in the back) but this wasn't quite the updo I was expecting. Of course I would think she would have something casual since that is her character but I don't like the pieces on the side that looks like they fell out of the updo.
