Perfume is such a touchy thing for me. I have a VERY sensitive nose. I have trouble walking into our Crate and Barrel from outside of the mall because they are upstairs from an Abercrombie. I can't take the heavy, heavy perfumes and colognes.
But when you leave behind the very heavy fragrances and the people that use too much - I love scents! I am really fascinated by them. I love smelling flowers at our weddings and I love the gardenias on my bushes out front. I also love rubbing an herb between my fingers to release the scent!
At Saturday's wedding a bridesmaid pulled out a bottle that didn't look familiar to me. But I was scared - it was black liquid with gold prongs running down the bottle. It looked evil. It looked heavy-scented! But I was really surprised after a few spritzes - it smelled really great! It had an almost incense scent to it but lighter. Then all of the bridesmaids started talking about it and how it was their new favorite perfume - it was Lady Gaga's Fame.
I am going to head over to Ulta and try it out on me and walk around for a day. That is when I find out if it mixes well with me or not. I recently tried something that had me feeling ill all day (it was too heavy) and I don't remember what it was. I think it was on the Chanel perfume line. Some of Chanel is great and others are way too heavy for me.
