I have tried so many dry shampoos and think I have finally found the best one. And the best part? It is one of the more affordable options! They have several scents and they also have colored sprays.
Batiste Dry Shampoo in Blush
I usually wash my hair every day but sometimes I feel like I am drying out my scalp and hair by washing it so often. So some days I skip washing my hair and use some type of hair product to control my oily scalp.
In the past I have tried these and they work fine. I just wasn't super excited about them.
*Oscar Blandi Pronto Dry Shampoo Powder
My 2nd favorite but it is more difficult to use because it is a loose powder. I think it tends to clump up in areas because I am not spreading it out properly with my hands. It is thick like cornstarch which I like and I feel like that makes it work better.
*Ojon Rub-Out Dry Cleansing Spray
This one is great because it is a spray. But it doesn't seem thick enough for me. One thing I am looking for in a dry shampoo is a bit of volume so that is why I prefer thicker dry shampoos.
*L'Oreal Professionel Texture Expert Fresh Dust Hair Powder
I heard so many great things about this and I FINALLY found it on a trip to NYC (L'Oreal Professionel products are hard to find!). I love the texture but I don't really like the scent. I am sensitive to some perfumes and I find that all day long I think "who is it wearing that perfume I smell?" and then I realize - OH - it is me!
*Bumble and Bumble Hair Powder Spray
This dry shampoo spray is the best if you have darker hair. Most sprays tend to have a white color to them and this fixes that. One time they didn't have the blonde spray in a travel size and I was desperate so I bought the black. That was a bad idea! The black spray really is black! I am sure it works great on dark hair but on my light brown hair it looked odd. This product does come off on my pillowcase and clothes - that is one downside.
One I need to try when my Batiste Dry Shampoo runs out is the new Aveeno Pure Renewal Dry Shampoo. I am obsessed with my Aveeno Nourish+ Moisturize Conditioner!
