I love walking past the store windows in Georgetown. I like seeing what is coming up in fashion and the current trends. I like the clothing Brooks Brothers sells. It is classic and traditional and preppy. And if I get a job at a law firm I might wear their clothes. But for now, it really isn't my style. I do see some cute shoes and dresses that are pretty - but just not “me†so I don't go in there very often.
I walked past tonight and in the window they are featuring what looks like a potato sack made into a skirt! It is wool and has a tie at the waist. I imagine the mannequin is wearing a size 0 or size 2 and even she doesn't look so good wearing this potato sack skirt. I'm a little surprised this made it into the “yes†selection when they were making the samples!
But those boots are cute! I like little pull on boots. I had a dark brown pair in college that I loved and the patent leather just wore out eventually. I need to work on showing my socks with short boots. Right now I only wear socks that are hidden.
