We decided to leave James at home to rest and we took the metro to the Palais Longchamp in Marseille. The metro in Marseille is very modern and clean.
The gardens were huge and we wandered around for quite a while. James would have been tired but I know he would have loved the dog park within the gardens. They actually have a sign with breeds not allowed inside the dog park. I was surprised to see this.
While we were gone, we left James on the couch of our apartment.
Our landlord needed to stop by and fix the hot water in the shower (it was WAY too hot and the mineral buildup was keeping the cold water from coming in to cool it down). I asked him later when we saw him on the street that afternoon what James did when he came into the apartment. He said that James didn't do anything - he just sat on the couch and watched! James, you don't make the best guard dog!
