We are in Scottsbluff, Nebraska and there are rabbits everywhere! James has a thing for rabbits. If you've been reading our blog for a few years, you will remember James and the rabbit treats we found in Austria when we lived overseas.
Look at how happy James is when he is hunting for rabbits:
It is interesting how in Europe you can find rabbit meat for sale at the grocery store and on the menu in restaurants. But here in the US, rabbit meat isn't as popular. Even the rabbit dog treats in the US are rare but we did find these from Chewy.
When we were in Canada a few years ago, we found rabbit feet dog treats and that was a fun find!
And because this is one of my favorite photos for storytelling, here is James in Austria. He would stare at the top of the fridge for hours because his rabbit treats were on top of the fridge!
