We are celebrating Chris' birthday in Wyoming! Chris said he really just wanted BBQ for his birthday dinner. Our campground happened to have the best BBQ in Cheyenne on the property (this is exactly why I booked the campground - for the birthday BBQ!). The only thing I didn't realize was that AB BBQ is only open 4-8pm. We arrived at the campground around 1:30pm and I was hoping to have both a late lunch and dinner again later. We had a few snacks in the RV and then headed over for the BBQ.
I decided to surprise Chris with candles. Chris doesn't like making a big deal out of holidays and celebrations but I do!
He was a good sport about the candles but he didn't let me light them.
Chris ordered the ribs and cole slaw and I ordered the chicken. It was SO good! The best BBQ we've had in a LONG time! After our ribs, chicken and cole slaw we ordered some chocolate pie for dessert.
The BBQ and pie does sell out quickly. We ordered our food around 4:30pm and when people were ordering after us we could hear the kitchen saying they only had 3 chicken meals left and they were out of one kind of pie.
