James and David

"Hey James, pose like David!"

I thought James was striking a similar pose to David looking slightly over his left shoulder.

This is the original location of Michelangelo's David and this is a copy of David that now stands at the entrance to the Palazzo della Signoria (Florence's town hall now known as Palazzo Vecchio). The original statue of David stood in the piazza from June 1504 until 1873. The original David is on display in the Galleria dell'Accademia in Florence.
