Plug on Mix 105.1!

We were driving home from Gainesville and we turned on 105.1 to hear if our friend Chris Orion was working. He was! He was playing that song that says "we always hang in a buffalo stance" and Chris and I decided to call him and ask what a buffalo stance was! I said my whole name and that we were on our way home from a wedding. He joked and said a buffalo stance was a bunch of girls hanging out in a field. He also asked if we wanted to hear a song - we weren't really thinking of a request, but the first one that came to mind was Duran Duran's Girls on Film.

So we were driving along listening when all of a sudden we hear "Hi Chris this is Sandra Johnson! We are driving home from a wedding and we wanted to know what a buffalo stance is .....(etc.)" and it was played over the radio! How fun! If I would have known he was going to play our chat over the air I would have thought out something fun to say. But the buffalo stance question was cute (Brownie's question, BTW!) and it was cool that we got to be on the radio. Who knows - someone we know might have been listening!

OH - and speaking of radio personalities, we met Dan Stone on Thursday night at Curt's place. It was funny - his voice sounded so familiar and he said "I work for 104.1" and I realized I knew him from Saturday nights!
