I get excited every February through March because the trumpet trees start to bloom around Orlando. I used to love the pink ones the best, but in recent years I have fallen in love even more with the yellow ones.

This cluster of trumpet trees was right by the public golf course in Winter Park, FL.
A few days later I was in the same area and ALL of the flowers were gone - they had all fallen to the ground and then the ground had been mowed. It was so sad to see them gone!
