We decided to check out some other areas we hadn't seen yet at Hot Springs State Park. And we found MORE springs! They are all over the park!
This springhead, pond and stream flowing out looked quite hot so we decided not to feel this one:
Next, we found some stairs that led down to the Bighorn River.
Just before the river, we spotted another spring!
The pictures do not do it justice - the water is SO clear against the pure white mineral deposits that line the stream bed:
As we headed back towards the car we noticed these beautiful layers in the earth all around us:
It looked like layers of a pastry!
