While in Savannah, Georgia we took a side trip out to Wormsloe Plantation which was a really neat place. Aparently the opening scene of Forrest Gump was filmed in Savannah and although the people at Wormsloe Plantation deny that this is the tree lined road that Forrest Gump ran along, it looks exactly like it.
