Leslie wanted to go out for drinks somewhere fun, so I let her do the picking of the place. We went to the W hotel in Westood and it was awesome! The little outdoor bar pool area was called The Backyard. We stayed at the W in Dallas last fall and it is one of those hotels that you really don't ever need to leave. The bar outside was really nice and I got some sort of lychee drink - always a bonus!

Leslie was looking for a celeb sighting, so she wanted to move locations. I really didn't care where we headed to - except the valet parking in LA - yikes! Bring your wallet! So stop number two was the Mondrian hotel and the outdoor bar there called SkyBar. It had a much better view, but it was very crowded. We were able to snag two seats at the bar and this was our view:
