Chris and I have been talking about a trip out west this summer to visit a bunch of the National Parks. Chris was talking about hiking into the backcountry and I was remembering our trip to Gannett Peak out of Pinedale, WY back in 1996. It was a fun trip - but being gone for a few days means you have to pack and carry everything! It isn't easy. I wish I had better pictures from the trip and these are scans from our old tired scanner. I had a great time going through my album - I love the picture of my dad looking all scruffy from not shaving!
