No trip to San Francisco is complete without a ride on a trolley car, but keep in mind that although the trolleys are cheap transportation they are always crowded.
And although it looks like fun to hang off of the side of the trolley, it's actually pretty scary because the trolley tracks are extremely close to the lanes that the cars use and if you are hanging out of the trolley car to far you could hit a mirror on a car, or even worse your backpack could catch a mirror and take you off of the trolley car!
