One of the things that Sandra really wanted to see in San Francisco was the Painted Ladies which is a term for Victorian houses painted in three or more colors to embellish their architectural features. The houses are really impressive and were not very easy to find, but it was worth the trip because there was a great park across the street where we could take a break from our explorations.
