Our first stop in the Los Angeles area was Santa Monica, where we stayed about a block or so from the Pier. This is the same Santa Monica Pier you've seen in the movies and it is just as cool in person. But of course our first order of business was to hit the Ferris Wheel!
It's not the biggest Ferris Wheel in the world, or the newest or anything like that, but it has to be the one with the best view.
But no ride on a ferris wheel is complete without a full commentary...
