Grand Canyon North Rim

September 26, 2008 ยท Chris

Early the next morning we headed to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon which is 5 hours from the more popular South Rim. The reason it is such a long drive is because you have to drive around the canyon and a large portion of the Navajo Indian Land surrounding the canyon.

It is a good idea to check your gas gauge before making the drive because there is not much along the drive except for the few scattered homes and plenty of desert.
