Sandy Point Park

Sandy Point Park

September 14, 2009 ยท Chris

Since our next stop was only 2 hours away we made a decision to add two hours to our trip by driving to Deer Island, then to Acadia. The only problem with the drive was that the roads were pretty rough and there was no cell service but we got to see some cool stuff along the way like

Sandy Point Park where the pups discovered some cool stuff in the water

(Goblin is still scared of waves, this video is proof!)

and the Penobscot Narrows bridge which has an observation area at the top of one of its towers!

We drove through an area that looked like what we would imagine the countryside of Scotland would look like. There were inlets and boats all over this area and every view was incredible!
