After driving most of the day we passed our campground to go into town for some lunch. The town of Munising, Michigan was just a short drive away and had a few choices for restaurants. We found a park on the lake and decided to go to the Dog Patch to get a sandwich and take it to the park to eat. It was around 2:30 pm and nobody was using the picnic tables so it was a great plan.
We picked up our lunch and headed back to the park to find all but one of the picnic tables taken.
We have no idea where everyone came from and all but one group had left by the time we finished our lunch!
As we ate lunch we watched a glass bottom tour boat load up and head out to see all of the local shipwrecks. There was a group of kids who beached their pontoon boat to play football on the beach.
Two out of the three kids were sunning on the boat while on their cell phones, keeping up with the local gossip.
Of course we had to let the pups check out the lake before we left the park.
