I really enjoy the YouTube channel Wendover Productions. We love traveling all over Europe by train. But the thing is, cities in Europe are SO much closer to each other (for the most part). Here in the US we sometimes drive for 4 hours and hardly pass a gas station. We sometimes laugh and say, "If we were in Europe right now, we would have driven through three countries already!" and it is true!
300 train journeys a day in the US vs. 14,000 journeys a day in France. That just blows my mind!
