I was driving home from dinner tonight with our friends Adam and Vanessa. Like a bolt of lightning, I saw this gray streak come from the woods on the left hand side of the road and dart in front of my car. It all happened so fast - I screamed, hit the brakes, my purse went flying onto the passenger side floor. I didn't hear a thump, but I had to have hit it. Chris was following me in his car and he said it was a fox! The good news, he only saw my brake lights and the fox run off to the right. I still can't believe I didn't hit it. Poor guy - I probably scared him as much as he scared me!
