I have a pair of cardinals that are always on my porch feeder. They are very camera shy and the past few days I've been sneaking up on them trying to get a few shots. Every time, they fly away. I decided to wait for them to come back today and after a while, the male finally came back! No luck with the female. Maybe I will buy a 600 lens so I can shoot from across the street!
Edited to add: I checked out the 600 from B&H. Um, it is $7200. My cardinals will HAVE to get used to me for that price!
