Near our place in Milan we kept passing this spot that we couldn't figure out.
Was it a restaurant? Was it an office?
At times it seemed to be both and maybe more, so we decided to check it out and quickly learned that it was a place called HUG. HUG Milano to be exact. It is a Bistro and a Co-Working space which means you pay for what you use (usually time and supplies) and just pull up to a table to get your work done. It's not an entirely unique concept but after checking out their web site HUG is actually so much more! They have events, they work on bikes, they offer daycare and after school programs, it's a Hostel and place to hang out. Basically, if you don't work for a tech startup you can find all of the stuff they have at their offices here.
Once we decided to check it out we decided it would be a great place to meet people... if you spoke Italian of course. But it was really nice inside and if you are looking for a place to go in Milan, it's worth checking out.
