Spring in Orlando

I was in Orlando for a wedding and I thought I missed the peak Tabebuia season. I used to call them (and still sometimes do) Trumpet Trees but they are not actually trumpet trees. They are Tabebuia trees. They are pink and yellow and they are absolutely beautiful! I love when the flowers fall off the tree and make a blanket of blooms on the grass below.

Here is a yellow one that was blooming while I was in Orlando:
