During our first Spring in Washington, DC, I spotted the Crocus flowers starting to bloom in the park where I walked James and in a lot of flower boxes along the streets of Georgetown. I had never seen them before (we didn't have them in Florida!) and I quickly learned they were the first sign of Spring! Every year, I looked forward to seeing the crocus flowers pop up. It meant the cold winter was almost over!
I was really excited when, after MONTHS of cold, I spotted these Crocus bulbs flowering in a park in Florence, Italy. It meant Spring was coming!
