Interstate 70 Rest Area

And so we began our trip through the Southwestern United States. Leaving Denver we headed West along Interstate 70 on our way to Moab, Utah and the beginning of our tour. But somewhere along the way we needed a break and although we just stopped at a rest area, this was the view:

Then to make it even more exciting we spotted a group rafting down the river, this along with the bike path that runs along the river and the Interstate all through the mountains it's no wonder why Colorado is the fittest state in the country!

And can you believe that this is a rest area along the Interstate! The ones we have in Florida look like some sort of prison camp.
