Eventually we made it to Stonington and found a little restaurant called the Harbor Cafe for lunch. I had a bacon wrapped hot dog, Sandra had a halibut wrap with lettice, tomato and cheese and Duke and Goblin helped us with the fries! The food was amazing and well worth the long drive to get there.
The only thing we didn't do at the Harbor Cafe was try the blueberry pie. A woman came in while we waited for our order and said she had the pie the day before. She was ordering another piece for now and reserving two more for when she came back for dinner. She was seriously addicted! But it's blueberry season so maybe she knows something we don't!
