There really is no way to describe how incredible the view was from anywhere around our campsite. The wildflowers were in bloom and they covered the ground for as far as you could see.
Keep in mind that we are above the tree line so there are no trees, just small seasonal vegetation.
Oh, and this little guy.
I'm not sure where his mama is but she was probably hiding close by. We didn't bother him for long and he really didn't seem to be afraid of us either. Or maybe he was just too cold to run very far, but either way we let him do his thing while we continued to explore.
