We were right on schedule to meet our friends Ann and Ryan and they called just as we came over the Ben Franklin bridge to say they were just leaving the hospital. (They are both doctors, nothing to worry about... it's their office)
We stopped at Whole Foods to get some supplies then we headed to their place where Duke and Goblin were going to meet Diamond, Ann and Ryan's Great Dane!
At 130 lbs., Diamond is 50 lbs. bigger than Duke and about 50% taller as well.
She is such a great dog and to our surprise Havoc,
Melissa's dog was over as well! It was a dog party and on top of our pups being exhausted, Duke was afraid of Diamond because of her size and Goblin was a little unsure of Havoc because his name absolutely fits his energy level! But after a few minutes we had a well oiled pack of dogs and Duke and Diamond were our security team.
When Melissa came by to pick up Havoc, Duke let out a HUGE bark and as she walked in she said, "WOW! Who projected?" She got to meet the dog pack, then we all walked her and Havoc home and after a brief pause at the dog park on the way back we all headed off to bed.
