Bainbridge Island is one of those places I always wanted to see and we finally made it! I knew it was a quiet island just a short ferry ride away from bustling Seattle. The island has a small town feel - the streets are painted where high school seniors live and people all seem to know each other at the grocery store. Chris doesn't live big cities like I do, so I could see living somewhere like Bainbridge Island where I could take a ferry for my city fix and Chris could be far from the crowds.
The beaches are all dog friendly and that is great! We found this little driftwood lean-to on the beach.
I also love all of the hydrangeas all over the island.
And of course there are blackberries everywhere!
