Downtown Kelowna British Columbia has a beautiful park that runs along Okanagan Lake. The park is dog friendly, too! There is a beach (but it was a little too chilly and overcast so no one was on the beach) and a manmade lake in the middle with boats and even a lock so the levels of Okanagan lake must go up and down throughout the year.
While in Kelowna, we were hoping to go to Kelowna Mountain Bridges & Vineyards. It is a winery with suspension bridges. But they are only open in July and August. Years ago we went to the Capilano suspension bridge just north of Vancouver, BC and we really liked it. We will have to go back to Kelowna in the summer!
